Condolences

Condolence From: Nancy Jacobs & Mark Parent
Condolence: Dear Jean and all of Merle's family, Merle's warm smile was a constant feature of so many dances we attended. He seemed to show up at every square dance, as well as at the round dance classes we had, both east and west. He was the "ubiquitous Merle", with the non-stop smile. I was awed by his gentle kindness, and his patience, with himself and with others. We feel badly for your loss. You'll be in many thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I am so very sorry, Jean. Merle was a very special person. I remember the first time I saw the both of you - his smile lite up the whole room and you just knew what a wonderful person you were meeting. I loved Square Dancing with him - always made everyone feel special, you could always see how much he enjoyed it. Merle will be so very missed!

Condolence: Square dancers, as a rule, are exceptionally warm and helpful. Merle had a greater amount of those qualities than anyone else we know. Barbara and Norman A. Kanter

Condolence: We loved spending several years with Merle every Wednesday night learning round dancing. Merle was always friendly with a warm and gentle nature. He loved all forms of dance and put his soul and heart into learning. He will be missed.

Condolence: I will remember Merle square dancing - always with a big smile. His bright presence lit up the room! We will miss Merle, but thoughts of him will continue to bring smiles to many dancers.
